September is Archaeology Month

September is Archaeology Month and what better way to celebrate than to visit the Native American Museum, Dobbs Park, 5170 E. Poplar Drive in Terre Haute, Ind.?

This stone axehead is a part of the museum’s collection. It dates from approximately 3 to 5,000 BC.

The Native American Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (EDT). It is closed Sundays and Mondays.
